The posted compensation range of $16.42 - $23.19 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our EMS Dispatcher at Good Samaritan Hospital, you will receive and coordinate both emergent and non-emergent telephone and radio requests for patient transports via air care and ground ambulance.
Every day, you will work closely with flight clinicians, pilots, mechanics, and administrators to ensure our patients are transported to their destination in a safe and timely manner.

- Performs emergency dispatching of air care & ground ambulances
- Compiles, organizes, and processes information for the department from radio, phones and verbal communication
- Monitors and records incoming and outgoing phone calls on the emergency services toll-free hotline for quality assurance purposes
- Types, files, audits, copies, maintains and monitors department records
- Provides department service to patients, family members, physicians, nursing and EMS personnel both in and out of the health systems
Required
- High School Diploma
Preferred
- EMT, CNA or Dispatch certifications
