Night & Weekend Shift Differentials Offered
We’re looking for a dedicated Overnight Pharmacist to join our team and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will accurately interpret, verify, and dispense medications while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards. You’ll document clinical activities, interventions, patient education, and consults thoroughly, while reviewing medications prepared by other pharmacy personnel to maintain accuracy and safety.
You will collaborate closely with providers to clarify orders, recommend therapeutic options, and resolve drug-related issues, while delivering drug information and patient counseling to support safe and effective treatment plans. The role also includes mentoring and guiding pharmacy technicians, students, interns, residents, and other healthcare professionals, helping to foster a culture of learning and excellence. Staying current with automated systems, completing mandatory education, and performing additional duties within your licensure scope are essential components of this role.
This position offers a 7 on / 7 off overnight schedule, giving you built-in work-life balance, along with competitive pay and night/weekend shift differentials. Job Requirements
Active State Pharmacist License in good standing AND American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

At CHI Health Good Samaritan, you’ll find an advanced level trauma center that also offers AirCare emergency helicopter transport and an ambulance program providing long distance and local 911 service.
