Job Summary and Responsibilities
As Supervisor of the Cardiac Cath Lab, you will lead daily operations, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient cardiac care, managing staff, and upholding clinical standards.

Every day you will optimize scheduling, resources, and workflow, while developing staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.

To succeed, you need strong leadership, extensive clinical knowledge, and the ability to drive quality and compliance for superior patient outcomes.
  • Manages day to day operations of the Cath Lab including patient throughput, collaboration with physicians and the cath lab patient schedule.
  • Responsible for the hiring, evaluating, performing disciplinary action, and coaching of the staff in conjunction with the Director of the Cath Lab.
  • Oversees staff and “on call” schedule ensuring appropriate experience and skill mix for all shifts.
  • Maintains responsibility for ensuring properly functioning equipment and adequate supplies.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and communicates via occurrence reports or direct communication with Leadership Team.
  • Participates in policy creation or revisions and staff compliance with the policies.

Job Requirements
Required
  • Graduate of an accredited institution of Radiology Technology., upon hire and
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Cath Lab experience, upon hire
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, upon hire or
  • Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire or
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
