The posted compensation range of $19.01 - $26.85 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting in the treatment of physical disabilities, injuries, and diseases through the use of a variety of therapeutic modalities. Work involves the application of a physician's prescription in accordance with standard therapy practice. All work is performed under the direction or supervision of a Licensed Physical Medical and Rehab Clinician and is reviewed through observation of techniques employed and results obtained.
Administers treatment in all phases of therapeutic exercises and functional training as directed by licensed therapist.
Administers treatment using exercise equipment and mobility devices as instructed by therapist.
Administers therapeutic modalities.
Assists in observing the reaction of patients and notifying the supervising therapist.
Performs delegated part of a treatment plan as directed and Provides the therapist with a description of treatment given and of the patient’s progress.
Reinforces therapist instructions.
Keeps equipment and treatment area clean and follows infection control procedures.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate, upon hire or
- High School GED, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
