The posted compensation range of $40.66 - $58.96 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
- Utilizes portable phones for communication convenience.
- Conducts staff rounding and performance appraisals and reports results to the Clinical Director.
- Rotate staff roles as appropriate within the lab to minimize radiation exposure boredom. 4. Oversees vendor and application specialist visits, assuring adherence to hospital protocols.
- Coordinates own PTO with other SLCs to ensure adequate coverage of his/her area 6. Whenever possible, assign yourself as the 4th person in a room for flexibility in making rounds to all rooms within the scope of responsibility (CST or RT) for consistent supervision, help with breaks or emergency situations.
- When assuming the role of CST, adhering to surgical standards including but not limited to anticipating surgeon needs and providing appropriate instruments and equipment during procedures,maintenance of sterile field, and assisting in the prep of patients.
- In conjunction with the Clinical Director, Establishes consistent standards for timely and efficient room turnover and holds staff accountable to benchmark.
- Ensures proper documentation and archiving of cases.
- Assigns preceptor and Oversees staff competency and training needs in cooperation with unit Educators.
- Maintains open communication with physician partners, Clinical Director and other staff.
- Ensures family updates occur approximately once an hour.
- Oversees vendor and applications specialists’ visits ensuring proper protocol is followed. 14. Assists with selection of equipment, supplies and budget process.
- Reports equipment malfunction/failures in a timely manner to the appropriate personnel and follows up until corrected, including notification to the Clinical Director.
- Maintains comparable and consistent running of all labs as agreed.
- Assists in the coordination of Cath Lab staff and equipment with the OR for hybrid cases.
- Meets weekly with the Clinical Director.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Licensure:
- Associate’s Degree or completion of an approved training program (ARRT and/or CST) CST or MRAD or RTR
- BLS
Minimum Experience:
- Two (2) years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or two (2) years of surgical tech experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.

Position Summary:
Performs a wide range of clinical and service line duties included, but not limited to administrative, clinical, surgical, technical, day to day supervision (including corrective action as needed), evaluation and management of staff, equipment and supplies. The role includes clinical interaction with patients, professional interaction with physicians and staff to make the best impression in all situations. With an emphasis on quality enhancement and high productivity, the Service Line Coordinator functions using problem solving skills and effective communication with all members of the team to facilitate the best possible outcomes for our patients, physicians and department.
