The posted compensation range of $22.91 - $31.50 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
At Post Health Home Care, we strive to embody our mission of delivering hope and healing to those we serve. As a Chaplain, you’ll engage in a range of exciting responsibilities, including:
- Provides spiritual support for inpatients, outpatients, relatives of patients, and staff members.
- Empathizes and prays with the ill, the dying patients, and their families.
- Provides for follow-up visits as needed.
- Confers with medical and nursing staff in regards to the spiritual needs of patients.
- Partners with the broader community to meet spiritual and emotional needs.
- Demonstrates sensitivity to the sacramental and spiritual needs of patients, families, staff, and community.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree, or equivalent, in a theological discipline such as theology, pastoral ministry, or related field.Successful completion of at least four units of approved Clinical Pastoral Education.
- Three years pastoral experience, and at least one year experience in a health care setting
- NACC Certification of Standing/Affiliation with NACC - CHAPLAIN, or APC board certified chaplain – BCC-APC.
