Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Angio Tech Lead, you will operate diagnostic equipment and perform a variety of technical angiography procedures.

Every day you will provide patient orientation, explain procedures, and deliver pre and post-diagnostic care until test completion. This includes positioning patients, calibrating equipment, and meticulously documenting findings.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate technical proficiency in angiography, strong attention to detail for equipment operation and documentation, and excellent patient communication skills to ensure comprehensive diagnostic imaging tests.

  • Supervisory and leadership skills needed to mentor other technologists.
  • Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of Angio equipment. Knowledge of Angio examinations as well as procedures that require the use of contrast agents. Ability to manage patients during complex Angio procedures exams such biopsies, drainages, etc. Able to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization.
  • Knowledge and practice of the ALARA (As low as reasonably achievable) standards when performing exams. Knowledge of patient transfer and positioning techniques,
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct.
  • Provide general oversight of inventory, scheduling staff and managing board/schedule.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Three (3) years of experience
  • BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association, upon hire
  • Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), upon hire
  • Licensed as a Medical Radiographer through the Texas Board of Medicine, upon hire and
  • Registered Technologist Vascular Inteventional Rad, within 24 months or Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, within 24 months
