The posted compensation range of $30.55 - $44.30 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Position Summary
Performs 3D imaging reconstruction and special 3D cardiac exams on the various post‐processing workstations. Assists Physicians/Surgeons with surgical planning needs within 3D services. Develops and Maintains a marketing program to promote the 3D imaging services, including referring physicians associated with the System.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing day‐to‐day supervision related to 3D imaging in the CT /MRI suites, Research and Surgical Planning
- Performs 3D post‐processing imaging following the established 3D protocols
- Operates diagnostic and special post‐processing 3D/Cardiac equipment; Performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures
- Ensures patient orientation, patient preparation, and patient teaching is provided prior, during, and following the test completion
- Reviews physician requests to verify the type of diagnostic test ordered, and the indication for the procedure is consistent with 3D imaging
- Works with CT/MR/Research management to ensure CT/MR/Research protocols are created to maximize 3D imaging techniques.
- Works collaboratively with physicians/ surgeons to provide surgical planning tools and ensure 3D imaging is meeting their patient care needs
- Problem‐solves equipment failures and imaging quality of all 3D Workstations; contacts service representatives regarding equipment problems
- Manages and Performs the necessary QA associated with 3D imaging
- Verifies with physicians and optimizes 3D procedures and Provides quantitative data analysis.
- Performs monthly statistical reports of 3D services rendered and submits to Radiology management.
- Prepares strategic initiatives to market 3D services to referring providers within the health system.
- Assist with preparing interesting cases for presentations and publications.
- Provides 3D training of imaging staff to ensure quality and standardization of 3D studies.
- Provides leadership in the absence of management.
Qualifications
Education and Licensure:
- Associate's degree (required)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (R); must maintain as current (required)
- Certified by State of Texas – MRT; must maintain as current (required)
- BLS certification (required)
Experience:
- Five (5) years of Radiologic Technologist experience (required)
