The posted compensation range of $28.67 - $42.64 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Workers’ Compensation Coordinator is responsible for directing, implementing and managing all aspects of the workers’ compensation program for one or more facilities within a given Market, this position will be located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The position will provide advocacy and support for injured employees and influence safety investigation and loss prevention follow up with key stakeholders. This role will be responsible for understanding and communicating key policies and key metrics across all levels of the Market and Region. The nurse acts as an advocate for the employee by ensuring access to employee health services and to other available programs that directly correlate to the wellbeing and safety of the employee while performing job duties at a CommonSpirt Health facility.
- Develop and provide internal communication and education to all levels of staff, including leaders, as needed
- Direct employees for medical treatment, as allowed by state law
- Maintain regular communication with injured employees in order to advocate and provide employment status information
- Report claims to TPA
- Coordinate claim investigation with supervisors, injured employees, witnesses and others to assure appropriate loss prevention mitigation or safety corrections occur
Job Requirements
Required: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred: Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)
Required: 2 years clinical experience
Preferred: Employee or occupational health experience
