Responsibilities
  • Manages all operational and fiscal activities for Volunteer Services, Gift Shop, Guest Services and grants.
  • Develops effective and innovative recruiting, placement, and recognition strategies to ensure an adequate cohort of volunteers is available to staff new and existing service areas.
  • Researches, analyzes and presents information gathered from diverse sources to develop new proposals and initiatives promoting volunteer and guest service development. Leads the development, integration, and execution of successful, innovative programs for staff and volunteers.
  • Makes visits to patients and other customers in assigned areas on a regular schedule serving as a liaison customers, Nursing Leadership, co-workers, and Medical staff.
  • Serves as a liaison for patient grievances
  • Supports and helps coordinate community events for the hospital

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in healthcare management, or related field required
  • Previous experience in leadership strongly preferred

This position contributes to the mission and vision of CHI St Vincent.  This manager provides strategic direction, program development and day to day operations management of Volunteer and Guest Services for the Hospital.

CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is a 280 bed faith-based, non-profit, Magnet Accredited facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. As the only level II trauma center in the southwest part of the state, CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is the regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, neuro, ortho, oncology and critical care/pulmonary. We have also been voted as one of Arkansas Best Places to Work by Arkansas Business since 2019. We have earned top patient safety ratings from Leapfrog and was recently named as one of the Nation’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals in Fortune and PINC AI.
