Echo Technologist Lead
The posted compensation range of $33.11 - $49.25 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Perform Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct M-Mode, 2D, color flow Doppler, stress echos, and transesophageal echos (TEE); prepare patients, report significant findings to physicians, and administer IV contrast or pharmaceutical agents as directed.
- Maintain Equipment & Operational Accuracy: Inspect and troubleshoot echo equipment, manage supply efficiency, and accurately track procedural logs, billing charges, and productivity reports.
- Communication & Training: Coordinate care across clinics, hospitals, and outreach services, foster a collaborative team environment, and serve as a preceptor for training cardiovascular ultrasound technicians.
- Administrative & Management Support: Assist with updating policy and procedure manuals, support capital budget development, and provide learning opportunities for outreach programs.
- Professional Development: Participate in continuing education programs and maintain required Continuing Medical Education credits (10 CME hours/year or 30 every 3 years).
We are offering a sign on bonus up to $15,000 to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder program as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement and relocation assistance.
Required
- Bachelors Other or equivalent from a four year college or technical school and at least 5 years of experience in cardiac sonography, upon hire
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
