Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Medical Office Professional, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our clinic, providing essential administrative support for a smooth patient experience.
Every day, you will manage patient reception, schedule appointments, handle calls, and guide check-in/out. You'll verify demographics, process payments, and ensure clear communication between patients and staff, maintaining an efficient front desk.
To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organization, attention to detail, and tech proficiency. Your calm task management, compassionate approach, and dedication to excellence are paramount.

- Uses scripted greeting. "Thank you for choosing _________________________________ this is (your name) how can I help you"
- Uses scripted closing at every interaction. "Is there anything else I can do for you" Over the phone and as patients leave the clinic.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate, upon hire or
- High School GED, upon hire and
- None, upon hire
Preferred
- Six (6) months experience in an outpatient setting as a Medical Office Receptionist or
- An equivalent amount of experience in a high-volume customer service role in anotherindustry/environment. or
- 6 months experience as a Phone Receptionist or Health Information Associate withinDignity Health.
