The posted compensation range of $26.50 - $32.22 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Sterile Processing Tech performs tasks of identifying, decontaminating, cleaning, sterilizing, inspecting instruments, preparing goods and equipment for use in patient care.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- One (1) year of patient care experience or certified in Central Sterile Processing
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency.
CRCST or CSPDS or CSPDT
Certification in Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing and Central Sterile Processing through the International Association of Healthcare Central Services Materials Management (IAHCSMM) or Certified Board for Sterile Processing (CBSPD) within ONE year required.
Ability to understand and follow instructions. Communicates and works effectively with others. Participates in in-services and educational offerings.
- Knowledge and ability to use aseptic technique.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of (1) one year in a Central Service or Surgical instrument processing area preferred.
