The posted compensation range of $68.54 - $90.94 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Responsible for contributing to the health of our community by providing quality services in a compassionate and cost-effective manner.
- Assists in assuring departmental competency and compliance to all regulatory, accreditation and hospital standards of care.
- Works in collaboration with the Department Managers and Directors to develop and implement integrated policies and procedures. Ensures that standards and policies and procedures are followed in daily practice.
- Maintains confidentiality of information deemed confidential and takes steps to assure processes that protect confidentiality.
- Participates in the annual general competency assessment program for all employees and volunteers.
- Assists in the provision of general nursing services orientation and unit/job specific nursing orientation.
- Assists in the annual nursing services annual competency based assessment program.

Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelors degree (if candidate does not have a Bachelor's Degree, candidate must have minimum three years of experience within a healthcare educator role)
- Five years experience in acute health care nursing
- Recent clinical experience
- California RN license
Preferred
- Project/program development experience
