Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic, patient-focused Retail Pharmacy Supervisor to lead daily operations and serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge for our retail pharmacy. This role blends hands-on clinical care with operational leadership, offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient outcomes, team performance, and pharmacy growth.

What You’ll Do

Clinical Leadership (Primary Focus)

  • Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care as a practicing pharmacist

  • Develop and monitor individualized medication therapy plans

  • Collaborate with providers to ensure safe, effective, and cost-conscious treatment

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards

Operational & Team Leadership

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure safe, efficient service

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate pharmacists and pharmacy staff

  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance development

  • Drive financial performance, including labor management, revenue, and reimbursement optimization

  • Maintain regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • One year of work experience in a retail pharmacy setting 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree

Required Licensure and Certifications

  • Active Pharmacist License in good standing in Nebraska
  • BLS-CPR
