The posted compensation range of $53.66 - $72.87 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Are you a Utilization Review Nurse who loves making a real impact from the comfort of your home? We're on the hunt for a master-level critical thinker and problem-solver to join our collaborative remote team. We're looking for someone who's completely at home with Cerner, InterQual, and Xsolis programs. If these tools are second nature to you, you'll hit the ground running. If you're eager to leverage your expertise, work autonomously, and be part of a supportive, 100% remote team dedicated to quality patient outcomes, we want to hear from you! (Must be a California resident.)
- Understand how utilization management and case management programs integrate.
- Knowledge of managed care and payer environment.
- Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as a team player and assist other members of the team where needed.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum two (2) years of acute hospital clinical experience or a Master's degree in Case Management or Nursing field in lieu of 1 year of experience
- California RN license.
- Certified Case Manager (CCM), Accredited Case Manager (ACM-RN), or UM Certification preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)) or related healthcare field preferred.
- At least five (5) years of nursing experience preferred.
- Must be a California resident required.
This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
