The posted compensation range of $30.03 - $40.52 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, TJC and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Is a member of the Surgical team who works with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses and other surgical personnel in delivering care, pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively. Maintains patient safety and confidentiality during the hospital stay. Embraces diversity by displaying sensitivity to different cultures and cultural backgrounds . Participates in the coverage of the departmental "On Call" schedule as well as shift adjustment based on the needs of the department.
Job Requirements
- 1 year experience in acute care/stand alone ambulatory surgery center with focus on Ortho, Laparoscopic procedures, vascular, ophthalmology; or successful completion of a student clinical rotation at Glendale Memorial Hospital.
- Surgical Technician Training Course Graduate.
- BLS from AHA
