The posted compensation range of $25.25 - $35.67 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Clinic Registrar, you will provide crucial clerical support for our professional caregivers by expertly managing all functions related to patient registration.
Every day you will meticulously handle registration, insurance verification, financial assistance information, and Point of Service Collections. You will also be responsible for accurate data input and record keeping, ensuring the integrity of patient information and financial transactions, while meticulously adhering to all credit card handling processes due to potential access to sensitive third-party credit card information.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and clerical skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with financial regulations. Your ability to accurately manage complex administrative tasks will directly support seamless patient care and operational efficiency.
- Meets annual competency requirement prior to evaluation date.
- Positive relationship with all customers (i.e. Newborns to geriatrics)
- Greets/assists customers in a friendly, courteous, efficient, professional and confidential manner.
- Work with customers to solve situations that might occur with positive results. If unable to solve situation will turn over to appropriate person.
- Registers/Schedules patients per hospital policy for inpatient or outpatient services.
- Provides all uninsured patients financial assistance program information.
Required
- 1-2 years clerical experience with heavy public contact within a medical office or hospital with registration & scheduling preferred.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Armenian).
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Prefer knowledge of medical terminology.
- Keyboarding/computer skills.
