As our Central Service Tech I, you will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal healthcare supply chain operations. Every day, you will be instrumental in a variety of key tasks, including decontamination and sterilization, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
To be successful in this role
- You'll meticulously process incoming supplies, fulfill orders promptly for departments, and participate in cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- This role involves adhering to strict policy and procedure guidelines for supply handling, stocking, and quality control, ensuring that all medical items are properly prepared and distributed.
- Must be able to read results from the incubator regarding spore testing.
- Can successfully perform the setting up of sterilizers using proper temperature, dry time, and sterilization time.
This position is represented by CHEU and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Job RequirementsRequired:
- High School Graduate, or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years Central Service experience, Sterile Processing required.
- 1 year of experience and a registered CSTechnician/ Sterile Processing Technician required.
