Responsibilities
Responsible for the general supervision of the delivery and documentation of pharmaceutical care provided to patients using the medication use process (selecting prescribing dispensing administration and monitoring of medications).
Responsible for day-to-day management of pharmacy staff including scheduling annual evaluations orientation counseling interviewing candidates approval of time cards hiring and discipline of employees.
Provide input on budgetary considerations for their section at budget time. Monitors the income & expenses to compare with the budget as documented by monthly reports.
Provide input to the pharmacy leadership team on departmental operational financial and human resources issues and initiatives.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy is required. Advanced or Masters degree preferred (e.g. Pharm.D.) .
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Pharmacist in an acute care setting and/or completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program.
Licensure:
- Registered Pharmacist license. Oversight for an acute care facility requires licensure in the state in which you practice.
