The posted compensation range of $19.96 - $28.19 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
- As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will help pharmacists provide essential support in the preparation and dispensing of medications so they can ensure accuracy and efficiency while contributing to safe medication practices and excellent patient care.
- Every day you will expertly process prescriptions, compound medications, manage inventory, and meticulously assist patients with their inquiries. You will be expected to prepare, distribute and deliver medications in accordance with CSH policies, TJC requirements, and DOH regulations, perform clerical and administrative tasks, maintain proper medication and supply stock levels, and operate and maintain automated medication delivery systems and devices.
- To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a professional, patient-focused demeanor, and be trained and certified in IV admixture preparation (including hazardous/chemotherapy medication preparation if applicable).
Required
- High School Graduate, upon hire or
- High School GED, upon hire and
- 6 months compounding of IV medication
- Pharmacy Technician: AZ, upon hire and
- Certified Pharmacy Tech ECPT, upon hire or
- Certified Pharmacy Tech PTCB, upon hire or
- Certified Pharmacy Tech, upon hire
