The posted compensation range of $35.62 - $52.99 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Our Manager Executive Chef will be responsible for maintaining and administering culinary and nutrition services, and to provide for the operational needs of staff members.
- Indentifies current learning needs and opportunities for staff. Directs and manages processes in which the appropriate expert relates the information
- Conducts sanitation audits and performance audits on a consistent basis per determined departmental frequencies
- Follows purchasing agreements and compliance goals set forth by departmental/Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) program leadership. Assists Manager/Director with compliance audits at all applicable campuses.
- Maintains communication with staff and customers regarding the level of services they receive from FNS, staff, and promotes patient satisfaction with nutritional services. This data is relayed to the management team and/or staff whenever necessary.
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of leadership experience
- Three (3) years of equivalent combination of culinary education and culinary experience
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or (RD-ADA) or (RD-AND) or (RD-CDR) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
- Servsafe Manager (SERVSAFMGR) upon hire
- Servsafe General Certificate (SERVSAFE GEN) within 60 days of hire
- AZ Food Handler Permit within 30 days of hire or Servsafe Certification (SERVSAFE) within 30 days of hire
Preferred:
- Associates in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management. Commensurate experience will be considered in lieu of degree
