Responsibilities

At Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health social and support services in the heart of Chandler Arizona. As part of our team you will provide clinical expertise; support and oversight that helps ensure our patients receive exceptional care. JOIN US NOW as we are searching for the perfect CFY SPEECH PATHOLOGIST who is passionate about the health and well- being of our patients to provides patient care including evaluating patient for treatment, developing plan of care, establishing goals, and assessing progress toward the attainment of goals, consult with other health care disciplines to co-ordinate therapeutic programs and discharge planning for individual patient and instructs patients and care givers in home programs for exercises and functional activities.

Under the supervision of the Department Manager and CFY Supervisor, diagnoses and implements treatment plans for habilitation/rehabilitation of communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Provides counseling and education to patients, family and staff. Participates as an interdisciplinary team member. Documents evaluation reports, daily/weekly summary and discharge reports. Balances billable and non-billable hours to achieve productivity requirements. Position is an entry level clinical fellowship practice, rotating with a full patient caseload. Participates in case conferences, rounds, inservices and department projects.


Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology or related field from an accredited program required.
  • Arizona License in professional area.
  • American Heart Association BLS required.
