The posted compensation range of $18.00 - $30.25 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job description: Works primarily in the lab specimen processing/intake department of the lab. Assist with specimen management and clerical duties as requested. May perform blood collection and specimen processing. If allowed by local/state regulations, may perform waived or mod complex testing, if appropriate for the department organization.
Job RequirementsIn addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
- BLS-CPR within 90 days
- Lab Assistant Program certification, preferred
- Phlebotomy program certificate, preferred
- 6 months experience in an acute care facility, preferred
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
