Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), you will be a vital clinical professional, dedicated to providing high-quality respiratory care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric critical care patients.

Every day under medical and departmental direction, you'll deliver essential respiratory care per physician orders and policies. You'll ensure critical care services are met, meticulously manage equipment, and adapt care plans to optimize patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you'll combine strong clinical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach, directly contributing to healing and recovery in critical care.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Five (5) years minimum acute care experience with 1 year of critical care experience. If no qualified candidate may consider training positions depending on staffing needs.
  • Completion of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Care Health Sciences or Credentialed in one of the following by the National Board of Respiratory Care;
    • Advanced Critical Care Specialty
    • Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist
    • Certified/Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist

Licenses

  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner with the State of California
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
