As a certified Joint Commission Stroke Center Mercy Folsom provides exceptional care to our patients in our Medical Surgical and Intensive Care units as well as our 25-bed Emergency Department. Mercy Folsom received Among America’s 250 Best Hospitals recognition and is a Primary Stroke Center.


Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The position is a member of the healthcare team who is accountable for providing technical and/or supportive services under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse/Supervisor/Clinical Coordinator in the Operating Room. The incumbent may have access to medication storage areas in accordance with their job function and hospital policy.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualificiations:

  • Operating Room Technician graduate from an accredited surgical technology program with an externship at Mercy Hospital of Folsoms Main Operating Room in lieu of one year experience
  • Current BLS certification required (must be certified through the American heart Association)
