Clinical Engineering Accounting Associate
The posted compensation range of $19.73 - $27.13 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Job Summary / Purpose
This position is responsible for full accounts payable processing for the Clinical Engineering Department.
Essential Functions:
- Perform data entry of all AP Invoices as well as PO matching for assigned vendors.
- Uploading accounts payable invoices from various sources into invoice logger for payment processing.
- Reconciling vendor statements & working with vendors on invoice issues.
- Set up new vendors in Accounting Program.
- Handles all internal & external customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
- Assist Monthly Reconciliation of Time & Material expenses for month end close and billing to customers.
- Make necessary journal entries associated with the Month End Close if necessary.
- Assist in Month End Close and Billing
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Associates Degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
One to five years of accounting experience.
Language Ability: Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability: Basic: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Intermediate: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.
Computer Skills: Must be familiar with spreadsheet applications such as Excel & Google Sheets. Must have experience and familiarity with automated accounting systems.
