Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to drive and implement effective marketing automation and consumer journey orchestration strategies to enhance patient engagement and experience, improve awareness, and drive growth for healthcare services. This role is crucial in supporting the CommonSpirit regions and the physician enterprise. It combines strategic, technical, creative and analytical responsibilities to ensure effective customer engagement. The role involves managing Marketo for daily marketing automation needs and Adobe Journey Optimizer for orchestrating consumer journeys. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to develop automated engagement strategies that align with business goals and customer needs.

  • Marketing Automation Management: Develop, build, and execute scalable marketing automation campaigns using Marketo to nurture leads, improve patient retention, and enhance overall consumer/patient experience across various stages of the consumer journey.
  • Consumer Journey Optimization: Design, execute, and optimize customer journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer. Partner with the broader marketing team to influence integrated marketing automation efforts across multiple channels, including website, social media, and paid advertising.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to create targeted, personalized content and messages tailored to various patient segments.
  • Platform Configuration and Management: Configure, manage, and optimize both Marketo and Adobe Journey Optimizer platforms to ensure smooth campaign execution, accurate performance tracking, and effective consumer journey orchestration.
  • Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze and interpret campaign and journey data to measure effectiveness, make data-driven recommendations, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Lead Nurturing and Scoring: Implement lead nurturing campaigns and lead scoring initiatives to guide prospects through the sales funnel and increase conversion rates.
  • Data Quality and Segmentation: Monitor and maintain data quality within marketing automation systems, ensuring accurate segmentation and reporting.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and compliance standards/regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM, HIPAA, ADA, TCPA) for marketing automation and email channel delivery.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal stakeholders to ensure ethical, legal, and transparent marketing practices using marketing automation tools and techniques. Serve as the primary contact for automation tools, overseeing users and admins.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.  Combination of education and/or additional job related experience in marketing technology/digital marketing may be considered in lieu of the degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing. 
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience leading, developing and delivering marketing programs. 
  • Certification in Adobe Marketo strongly preferred
  • Certification in Adobe Journey Optimizer a plus
  • Demonstrated ability in effectively creating strong relationships across a broad level of stakeholder groups 
  • Proven working experience in marketing, digital marketing or branding, particularly within the industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills. 
  • Demonstrable experience implementing marketing campaigns and programs
  • Experience in optimizing creative and content
  • Solid knowledge of analytics
  • Working knowledge of DMP/CDP/CRM
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Journey Optimizer
  • Understanding of how to measure mROI
  • Ability to work with diverse teams to deploy integrated best practice models. 
  • Proven track record of inheriting and improving existing processes and implementing models of work. 
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Proven understanding of data-driven marketing strategy, planning, budget allocation and organizational alignment experience 
  • Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations and business objectives into marketing goals and measurements
