Responsibilities
Job Summary / Purpose
The Director of workforce experience sits at the intersection of human resources, operations and strategy as they are responsible for fostering an environment where employees can learn, grow, and feel supported in their work. This Director has a deep understanding of both the organizational and individual needs to dynamically shape a culture of excellence productivity and job satisfaction.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Lead employee value proposition creation and integrate into the enterprise
Lead a multidisciplinary project team to study and articulate the employee value proposition
Work across the ministry and TLC to embed the EVP into organizational process and practice, including selection tools, onboarding tools, orientation toolkits, etc
Build Career Pathways and Career Development:
The creation and administration of workforce experience projects and programs, including career progression plans, inclusive policy revisions, health equity partnerships and social justice connection
Participate and support strategic impact hire onboarding and success
Work across the ministry to understand the nuance of geographic demands and partner to create targeted solutions and scalable solutions
Build tools and solutions for individual career development and embed those tools into existing channels
Support strategic solutions for pipeline development
Through innovative programs, processes and solutions, this director will support building a pipeline of ministry critical roles
Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR leaders and other senior operational executives to establish data informed priorities to target hard to fill positions, critical pipeline, or other strategic priorities
Solutions may include apprenticeships, residencies, rotations, stretch assignments, matrix projects, certification programs, internal / external academic partnerships, etc.
Support the organization in effectively navigating a hybrid workforce and consider ways to drive inclusion and belonging for virtual colleagues
Considers innovative technology application for furthering development, connection, experience and culture
Manage vendor and strategic relationships
Partner with the HAN network to drive value to the organization through career development and talent growth
Facilitate an RFP and vendor selection process for work force experience vendor
integrate vendor into existing systems and structures
Manage Education Assistance programs
Continue leadership and direction to internal education tuition reimbursement plans for employee development.
Align education programs with benefits network and other external agency partnerships to streamline team member experiences
Professional Practice
Serve as a leader in the TLC Director team and positively contribute to the culture and mission of the organization
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in career development, EVP, and culture activation
Serve as an ambassador for workplace culture
Partners across the ministry with other teams also aligned to workforce experience like the health equity team, wellbeing, communications, benefits, diversity and inclusion, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors required, masters preferred in HR, OD, L&OD, IOPsych, psychology or similar
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
7+ years of relevant professional experience
