Responsibilities

Job Summary / Purpose
The Manager, Learning Systems & Stakeholder Solutions is responsible for the strategic administration, optimization, and stakeholder alignment of the Learning Management System (LMS) and related technologies across the enterprise. This role provides day-to-day oversight of LMS Administrators, guiding both system-level innovation and consistent, high-quality support for regional training needs. Through strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and technical fluency, the Manager ensures learning systems are leveraged to deliver scalable, high-impact learning experiences that align with CommonSpirit Health’s organizational goals.

This role serves as a strategic liaison with TLC leadership and regional education teams to identify local LMS needs, translate business requirements into system solutions, and ensure alignment with the overall Talent, Learning & Capabilities (TLC) strategy.


Essential Key Job Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Oversight
Lead, coach, and develop a team of LMS Administrators and technical staff to support regional and enterprise learning needs.
Foster a cohesive, high-performing team culture focused on service excellence, system accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Balance strategic leadership with operational oversight, ensuring timely support for both regional and enterprise learning needs.


Strategic LMS Management
Lead the planning and implementation of LMS optimization, integrations, and reporting strategies.
Partner with stakeholders to design and deliver scalable content delivery models and system enhancements, while overseeing system governance, QA testing, and reporting.
Ensure the LMS platform supports diverse learning needs across multiple business units and learner groups.


Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment
Serve as a primary liaison with HR, IT, TLC, and clinical/operational leaders.
Translate business requirements into technical system solutions that drive learning impact and operational excellence.
Translates local needs into actionable system tasks.


Learning Experience & Platform Innovation
Continuously explore and apply innovative learning technologies to support evolving workforce needs, digital learning strategies, and scalable program delivery.
Lead cross-functional projects to advance the learning system’s capabilities and user experience.


Governance & Compliance
Establish and maintain governance structures and data security standards related to LMS administration.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, data privacy regulations, and learning system protocols.


Support for TLC Learning Initiatives
Collaborate on enterprise-wide learning programs, instructional strategies, and digital learning solutions.
Contribute technical expertise to the design, development, and evaluation of content delivery models.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Required Education and Experience 
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education, Learning Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in learning systems administration, learning technology, or digital learning leadership.
2+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.


Required Licensure and Certifications
None required. Relevant certifications (e.g., Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, SCORM, xAPI, project management) are preferred.


Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
Proven expertise with enterprise LMS platforms and learning systems integration.
Strong leadership and people development skills.
Advanced knowledge of instructional technology, eLearning standards, and data reporting.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills.
Experience in applying data analytics to evaluate and improve learning impact.
