Job Summary / Purpose
The Senior Physician Recruiter is responsible for providing a consultative and collaborative approach to address the talent acquisition needs of our hiring leaders, using data analytics and traditional and non-traditional resources under minimal supervision. This role will focus on recruiting Physicians across CommonSpirit Health.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
- Partner with physicians and executives to develop opportunity profiles and develop recruitment strategies
- Identify and source targeted physicians using a variety of creative and effective recruitment methods that include: online advertising, mining websites, direct mail, telemarketing, networking, conference attendance, referral programs, phone interviews, and search firms
- Identify qualities and skills needed by the hiring department and utilize information to develop effective recruitment plans for sourcing and identifying physician candidates
- Further elevate and refine sourcing strategies to maximize exposure and physician recruitment methods
- Design recruiting initiatives at area residency programs; develop and maintain relationships with targeted residency programs and develop a strategy to enhance the recruitment pipeline
- Work with recruitment department, marketing, and outside recruitment advertising agencies to develop recruiting collateral which will include information on the medical group, hospital profile, physician benefits, CommonSpirit Health organization/mission/culture/values, geographic area highlights, links to area information on schools, cultural, and recreational activities
- Collaborates and consults with the hiring managers to identify, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to meet business needs leveraging traditional and non-traditional resources with the ability to provide ROI tracking, analysis and recommendations related to results, gaps, trend, etc. to influence positive outcomes based on the needs of the business.
- Engages and assesses both internal and external applicants to ensure that hires are aligned with our business strategy, mission, vision, and values, providing proactive communication and delivering high-level customer service throughout the recruitment process.
Leverages intermediate and/or advanced techniques for pipeline development, recruitment, and selection of new employees and internal applicants for assigned areas of responsibility, seeking creative and innovative solutions to recruitment challenges.
Assists in training and mentoring new Recruiters and Senior Recruiters.
Champions organization, department recruitment initiatives, programs and processes/technologies.
Demonstrates working knowledge of all recruitment processes in a timely, consistent manner, leveraging such resources as the ATS , social media and sourcing tools, to provide a best-in-class candidate experience; meet or exceed stakeholder service line agreements; and meet the workforce needs of assigned areas including a working knowledge of employment law (e.g. EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.).
Ensures the timely completeness and accuracy of the new hire file to include documentation (e.g. licensure/certifications, etc.) required for State, Federal, and accreditation regulatory compliance.
Partners with TA Coordinator and others to ensure successful pre-employment processes and onboarding.
Maintains current knowledge of organization/department, State, Federal, and accreditation regulatory compliance for all assigned areas of responsibilities and acts as subject matter expert as assigned.
Prepares and provides accurate data reporting as requested.
Continually monitors for and provides input as appropriate where process improvement opportunities exist.
Continually monitors for opportunities to mitigate risk to the organization and support a safe work environment, reporting any concerns in a timely manner.

Bachelor's degree preferred in related field, or experience in lieu of degree A minimum of five (5) years of full cycle physician recruitment experience required
