The posted compensation range of $25.55 - $38.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
Payroll Analyst will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and that expenses are posting accurately to
the general ledger. This role will work closely with the Payroll Operations Supervisor ensuring day to day operational
activities are being performed in accordance with the standards and processes that have been defined,
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs data analysis to ensure accurate and timely production of bi-weekly and off-cycle correction
payrolls.
2. Assists Payroll Supervisor in managing escalated cases to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
3. Performs data analysis, using reports from case management system, utilized for monthly metric
reporting on case types, volume, and identifying trends.
4. Works closely with Payroll Operations Supervisor to ensure coordination of analysis, implementation of
key organizational projects and continuous improvement activities.
5. Works closely with outsource third party vendor for garnishment administration including
interpretation, entry in the payroll system, and disbursement
6. Assists with reconciliation and timely cash transfer of MBO funds to Payroll Operations after for
biweekly and off-cycle payrolls.
7. Complete analysis of system configuration during new implementations and analysis of pay data for the
first payroll after implementation. Assist in analysis of final payrolls for groups divesting. 8. Assist with
periodic and annual external and internal audit requests
9. Manages inquiries from National and MBOs financial teams related to general ledger payroll interfaces
including identifying root cause and determining resolution

Required Minimum Experience 3 to 5 years experience in centralized and multi-state environment
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of payroll fundamentals, Knowledge of HIPPA
Bachelors degree and 1 to 2 years experience in centralized and
multi-state environment
PREFERRED Education and/or Experience
Experience with Lawson HR/Payroll and General Ledger
