The posted compensation range of $43.20 - $64.26 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an IT EPIC Application Analyst, you will implement, optimize, and support our EPIC EHR system, ensuring seamless operation and alignment with clinical workflows.
Every day you will analyze requirements, configure EPIC modules, perform testing, provide training and support, and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with clinical staff.
We work on a very collaborative team where implementation experience is our top priority. You will champion your application and need extensive Beaker experience to be a lead for your area (lab).
To be successful, you will possess deep EPIC module expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to healthcare technology.
- Designs, builds, tests, implements, and supports information technology solutions to meet operational and clinical needs.
- Responsible for delivering project assignments of medium to high complexity which includes application design, and configuration build. Works closely with customers to document requirements and communicate effectively with customers and peers to implement changes.
- Supports/maintains day-to-day existing functionality/programs/applications.
- Performs intermediate system analysis and troubleshooting to implement new functionality/programs/applications, and to analyze/research vendor release notes and documentation; understanding complete end-to-end system integration.
- Creates thorough system design and build documentation. Analyze the functionality of the system and how it fits or not with operations; The ability to troubleshoot basic problems and recommend and take appropriate action as required. Translate high-level business requirements to detailed technical designs/documentation.
- Collaborates with other analysts, staff, vendors, and leadership. Meet with department heads and executives on a routine basis to identify and prioritize their needs.
- Leads application management activities for a single functional area to achieve project objectives.
- Manages product lifecycle management, end user enhancement requests of moderate to high complexity, and technical aspects of the modules/applications that are assigned.
- Assists in identifying any barriers to adoption of clinical practice.
- Performs a variety of tasks to support the organizational initiatives.
- Facilitates performance improvement for the effective use of information technology.
- Supports business/clinical operations with clinical and financial end users. Supporting continued system maintenance and optimization.
- On-call coverage (after business hours and weekends) is required, on a rotational basis or as-needed. Some travel required, both locally and overnight.
- 3+ years Beaker experience, and Epic implementation experience within the last 2 year
- Epic full lifecycle implementations, experience supporting & managing multiple projects at a time
- Beaker certification preferred

- Bachelors Other in a related field or 4-6 years 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree, upon hire and
- 2 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Clinical, operational, application support and implementation, upon hire and
- Development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry is required, upon hire and
- Experience working with project life cycle or project management methodologies is required, upon hire
- EPIC Certification, within 120 Days
