Location: Elkhorn Metabolic Health Clinic

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 645a-515p (Thursday's Off)

You'll be more than just an emergency responder; you'll be an essential partner in our patients' wellness journeys. Think of yourself as the vigilant guardian of patient safety, a skilled data collector, and a compassionate point of contact, ensuring every patient feels secure, understood, and motivated as they undertake their metabolic transformation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Accurately and consistently obtain and document vital signs, blood pressure readings, glucose measurements, and other key metabolic markers.
  • Conduct focused patient assessments, gather detailed medical histories, and help identify any potential concerns or changes that require provider attention. 
  • Support our providers during examinations, consultations, and specialized metabolic testing.
  • Skillfully collect blood, urine, and other specimens for comprehensive metabolic lab testing.
  • Assist with medication administration as directed, ensuring compliance and patient understanding of their treatment regimens.
  • Offer clear, concise instructions and reinforce health coaching messages to patients, helping them understand their care plans and stay motivated on their metabolic journey.
  • Work hand-in-hand with physicians, dietitians, health coaches, and administrative staff to deliver integrated, high-quality metabolic care. We're all in this together!

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • State-approved EMT training program graduate
  • Active State NE EMT License required 
  • Active status on Nebraska Medication Aide Registry within 90 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
