Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Philanthropy Officer, you will drive philanthropic opportunities for the CHI Colorado Foundation, engaging major donors to transform healthcare and build healthier communities. Your primary focus is identifying, engaging, and securing commitments from prospective donors by actively telling our story and demonstrating our impact.

Every day, you will manage a dedicated portfolio to meet annual, campaign, and legacy fundraising goals, supported by our comprehensive stewardship program. This role demands constant presence outside the office, cultivating relationships and translating conversations into philanthropic results.

To be successful in this role, you must be a highly motivated, results-driven fundraiser with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, adept at articulating our mission's impact and achieving significant philanthropic support.
Identify and prioritize highlevel prospects.

  • Own relationship management and strategy for all prospects in portfolio.
  • Meet or exceed annual fundraising goal.
  • Visiting with prospects and making asks.
  • Managing prospect followup activities, coordinating with the team as needed.
  • Participate in team selling for funding opportunities across the state as needed.
Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Five (5) years of professional or direct experience
