CNA/Telemetry Tech/Nursing Unit Secretary
The posted compensation range of $18.00 - $26.52 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a crutial member of the patient care team, the CNA-Telemetry Tech-Nursing Unit Secretary role will provide direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. While in this position you will:
- Continually monitors patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel
- Be responsible for accuracy of reports and error reconciliation, including troubleshooting equipment problems and communicates needs to leader.
- Assist the healthcare team in coordinating, prioritizing and communicating patient, physician and staff needs.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified CNA-Tele Tech-Nursing Unit Secretary candidates will need the following:
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Six months previous CNA experience, required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- Previous telemetry experience, preferred
- Previous nursing unit secretary or medical office experience, preferred
- Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program, preferred
- Once hired, successful Completion of ECG Exam will be required annually
- Current state CNA license for applicable state of employment
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred
Physical Reqirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
