Responsibilities

As our Clinic Dietician with CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will be responsible for planning the nutritional care of individuals and groups by assessing nutritional needs, developing and implementing nutritional care plans for health maintenance of all age groups. Providers service in an ambulatory care setting as well as community partners, as appropriate.

  • Job requires employee to interact with not only the patients but families as well
  • Develop and implement a patient's plan of care by using evidence based practice and an assessment of
    nutritional needs
  • Interprets, evaluates, and utilizes pertinent current research related to nutritional care
  • Evaluates nutritional interventions and provides follow-up to ensure continuity of care
  • Counsels individuals and families in nutritional principles, dietary plans, and food selection, adapting
    plans to the individual
  • Clearly communicates and documents appropriate nutritional care

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Proof of completion of Dietetic Internship
  • License from NDBODP.

Required Licensure and Certifications

  • Current NDBODP License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS)
