Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Cook at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, you will help ensure patients and staff receive nutritious and satisfying meals so they can support their health and enhance their overall hospital experience.
Every day you will contribute to various aspects of food service operations within a fast-paced hospital environment. You will be expected to primarily focus on food preparation and cooking, but also flexibly assist with tray service, patient-facing interactions, and other department support duties as needed.

Current scheduled hours are Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–5:30 PM, with rotating holidays and occasional weekday coverage based on department needs. Schedules may evolve over time to support operational needs and team coverage.
We are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonusto new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Quantity cooking experience
- Six to 12 months cooking experience (in a healthcare setting).
- Previous food service or cooking experience is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates who bring a strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
