Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Cardiac Rehab RN, you will be a pivotal caregiver, guiding patients through critical cardiac recovery and empowering them and their families with life-changing support and education.
Every day, you will expertly assess complex cardiac conditions, meticulously monitor patient progress, and collaborate seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team to optimize healing and long-term wellness plans, ensuring no two days are alike.
To be successful in this role, you will combine acute assessment skills and an adaptable, detail-oriented approach with a compassionate drive to go the extra mile, shaping enduring positive health outcomes for every patient.
- Supervises the staff and department under the direction of the CNO.
- Provides direct nursing services to cardiac/pulmonary rehab patients, adapted to the patients’ age and needs: Initiates and revises the plan of care, assists in discharge planning, assess patients, provides education, and accurately documents each encounter.
- Demonstrates accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.
- Revises and initiates new policies according to AACVPR and facility guidelines.
- Takes immediate action in unsafe situations (example: proper tagging and reporting of equipment malfunction or wiping up water/urine spills). IRIS reporting.
- Shares expertise by mentoring, precepting, or teaching an in-service or class.

Job Requirements
Required
- Associate Of Nursing Sys/Div/Mkt/Local Supervisor – Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline or
- 3 years’ experience in the discipline or
- Master’s Degree
- Registered Nurse: ND, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
Preferred
- One-year ICU/Medical/Surgical experience
