Job Summary and Responsibilities

**Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus Offered**

Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment! 

Location: Valley View - Council Bluffs, IA

Schedule: Clinic Hours: Monday-Sunday 8a-8p - Working 3-12s (8a-8p) rotating every 3rd weekend

As a Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, using your skills and empathy to ensure every individual who walks through our doors feels heard, understood, and well-cared for. You'll be a vital part of our mission to get patients feeling better, faster.

What You'll Be Doing (and Loving Every Minute Of It!):

  • Be the Welcoming Face: Greet patients with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor, helping them navigate their visit with ease. You'll be the first impression, and we want it to be a fantastic one!
  • Vital Signs Virtuoso: Expertly obtain and record vital signs, acting as our clinic's very own data detective, providing crucial information for our providers.
  • The Go-To Guru: Assist our amazing providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Lab Pro: Perform basic lab tests (think strep, flu, and urinalysis – you'll become a pro at those!). You'll be instrumental in getting quick answers for our patients.
  • Medication Master: Administer medications as directed by providers, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

**CHI Health requires that ALL Certifed Medical Assistant / Medical Assistants MUST be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)


Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
