Job Summary and Responsibilities

**Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus Offered**

Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment

Location: Valley View - Council Bluffs IA

Schedule: Monday-Friday (4-days a week working 36hrs a week)

As our Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant (NOT Med Aide / CNA) you'll be the backbone of our clinical operations. You'll work side-by-side with our awesome physicians and nursing staff to ensure every patient journey, from check-in to check-out, is seamless and positive. Your ability to multitask with a smile and bring positive energy is key!
**CHI Health requires that ALL Certified Medical Assistants / Medical Assistants MUST be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
