Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Multi-Modality Tech Weekend Option, you will provide quality patient care across multiple medical imaging departments, utilizing your expertise to perform high-quality images and exams with sensitivity to patient needs. 

Every day, you will uphold standards of safe radiation practice while acting as a clinical resource and role model for other associate technologists, maintaining current standards of practice. You will be instrumental in ensuring advanced imaging services meet the highest clinical benchmarks.

To be successful, you will demonstrate leadership abilities and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in two or more imaging modalities. We seek a passionate individual ready to be an immediate asset to our diagnostic team.

  • Performs imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients, and all other individuals.
  • Produces quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
  • As assigned by management, performs technologist duties of other registered modality.
  • Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports / documents unusual occurrences and records patient's condition.
  • Notifies supervisor of equipment problems and logs the service call/problem per department procedure.
Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D
  • One (1) year imaging experience
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology
  • Any of the following: ARRT (CT), ARRT (M), R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT) ; R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT)
  • BLS through American Heart Association

Preferred

  • Associate Degree
