The Food Service Representative is responsible for overseeing and assisting with the daily work assignments performed in the Nutrition Services department including food preparation and delivery, catering, sanitation and stocking. This position will be responsible for providing orientation and training to new and existing staff.  You will be responsible for following Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Safe Handling Guidelines regarding food safety and sanitation and will provide excellent customer services when working with patients, visitors and other staff members.

As a Nutrition Food Service Representative you may perform work in one or more of the following areas: Barista, Cashiering, Catering, Dishwashing, Floor Stock, Food Preparation, Meal Assembly and Dining Service, Meal Delivery, Sanitation, and Tray Collection.


Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • High School diploma or GED, preferred
  • Previous food service, healthcare or customer service experience, preferred
  • Strong communication skills; ability to read, write and speak English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Food Service Safe Certification, preferred

Physical Requirements - Light Work - exert/lift up to 20 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently)
