The posted compensation range of $26.38 - $38.26 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Sonographer
This is a Part-Time role.
As a Sonographer you will perform both General and Vascular Ultrasound procedures with varying degrees of complexity.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate extensive knowledge of Sonography imaging techniques to assist the Radiologist in
successfully diagnosing and treating the patient's condition. Performs both General and Vascular
Ultrasound procedures with varying degrees of complexity.

Responsibilities
- Produces quality ultrasound images General, OB/GYN, and Vascular procedures.
- Assess patient's condition/information and determine the appropriateness of the procedures to be performed
- Evaluate patients for the presence or absence, severity and location of peripheral vascular
disease by selecting the most effective procedure(s) from an array of anatomic,
hemodynamic and physiologic procedures including duplex scanning, plethysmography,
doppler ultrasound, pressure measurements and active or passive hyperemic challenge. - Record test results and report the results to the physician upon completion of testing.
Document and prepare patient records for review and interpretation by physician - May rotate shifts or be in an “on call” status
- May rotate between different campuses within Brazos Valley
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Completion of an accredited Sonography program
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Sonography Certification by ARRT or ARDMS
- BLS
Preferred Education:
- Associates Degree, Allied Health or Radiologic Technology
