The posted compensation range of $67.92 - $112.06 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Region Director, Physician Recruitment and Onboarding, you will provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the comprehensive physician recruitment and onboarding processes across a designated region within our healthcare system.
Every day you will oversee the full lifecycle of physician talent acquisition, including market analysis, sourcing strategies, candidate evaluation, contract negotiation, and a seamless onboarding and credentialing process.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong executive leadership and strategic planning skills, a deep understanding of physician compensation models, recruitment best practices, and the complex healthcare talent market, and proven experience in leading a high-performing physician recruitment and onboarding function within a large healthcare system.
- Strategic Recruitment Partnership: Serves as a vital team member supporting CommonSpirit's operational and strategic goals through provider recruitment for both CommonSpirit and affiliated independent practices.
- Organizational Capability Building: Partners with leadership to understand business strategies and implements plans to build organizational capabilities, aligning provider recruitment with business imperatives.
- Operational Issue Resolution: Diagnoses organizational issues related to Provider Recruitment and leads the implementation of effective solutions.
- Comprehensive Recruitment Leadership: Leads all provider recruitment activities, including assigning opportunities, sourcing, networking, and troubleshooting to attract and retain providers successfully.
- Recruitment Planning & Communication: Formulates and communicates detailed recruitment plans based on CommonSpirit and community needs to staff and clients.
- Needs Assessment & Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborates with CMO/Executive Director/physician leaders to define provider needs, forecast challenges, align recruiting efforts with organizational strategies, and maintain transparent communication with leadership and candidates.
Required
- Bachelors Other or Appropriate experience can be substituted for education
- 7-9 years Eight (8) or more years experience in physician recruitment or related physician relations activities
- Management experience
- Auto Insurance
Preferred
- 10+ years Ten (10) or more years experience in physician recruitment or related physician relations activities
- Experience with employment and independent practice models
- 4-6 years 5+ years of management experience
