The posted compensation range of $15.00 - $20.33 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Obtain and verify patient demographic, guarantor and insurance information for new or established patients in accordance with departmental policy. Additionally, register the patient in the assigned bed through the electronic medical record system.
- Create a patient/case record in the ADT registration system in accordance with established policy and procedures for inpatient services.
- Obtain and verify patient demographic, guarantor and insurance information for new or established patients in accordance with departmental protocols and enter this information into the ADT system per departmental protocol.
- Ensure all self-pay accounts are referred to the Medicaid Eligibility Unit to ascertain eligibility status in accordance with policy and procedure
- Assist in other Patient Intake Department projects as needed and as directed by management
