The posted compensation range of $15.00 - $21.08 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments and deliveries.
Every day you will verify contents against purchase orders, identify and report discrepancies or damages, and organize received goods for proper distribution or storage.
To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, efficient organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting smooth operations.
- Accepts and signs for deliveries from distributors/vendors and assists in unloading shipments from delivery trucks.
- Uses dollies, forklifts and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around the stockroom.
- Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments, contacting buyers to resolve shipment discrepancies and processing returns for any defective or incorrect items.
- Stores, restocks and shelves delivery items as necessary and ensures that the stockroom is clean and organized.
- Processes transfers for shipments moving on to another location.
- Maintains records of all received shipment and contacts distributors/vendors directly or works with buyers to inquire about any shipment issues.
- Addresses and answers clinical staff inquiries about pending orders and shipments.

Job RequirementsRequired:
- High School Graduate or GED, upon hire
- Two years supply chain related experience
