The posted compensation range of $33.84 - $50.34 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
PRN Days
Responsible for accurately delivering radiation therapy per physician orders. This includes:
- Treatment Delivery:Performing treatments as prescribed, assessing patient reports, and meticulously positioning patients and equipment for optimal radiation delivery. This role requires maintaining quality during high-volume periods and prioritizing workload effectively.
- Patient Care & Safety:Monitoring patient's condition, reporting changes to the radiation oncologist, ensuring patient safety through infection control and proper use of support devices, and maintaining patient comfort during treatment.
- Equipment Management:Operating all radiation therapy equipment according to departmental procedures, preparing and cleaning treatment rooms, identifying and reporting malfunctions, and ensuring equipment is functioning properly before and during patient use.
- Documentation:Completing all required documentation accurately and within established timeframes, including patient treatment records and scheduling.
The individual must adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, and quality protocols.
Job Requirements
Certification of degree from an accredited radiation therapy program, followed by licensure from the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (RTT).
Licensure from the American Registry of radiological Technologists.
