Job Summary and Responsibilities
As ourPatient Advocate, you will serve as the essential liaison between clinical teams, patients, and their families. You are the heartbeat of our procedural waiting areas, dedicated to ensuring seamless communication, emotional support, and a compassionate experience for those navigating high-stress medical environments.
Every day you will manage patient check-ins and orient families to our Surgery and Cardiac waiting areas. You will bridge the gap between procedural staff and visitors, relaying timely status updates, facilitating physician consultations, and escorting families to pre- and post-op zones. Throughout your shift, you will provide critical intervention while maintaining precise, detailed documentation of all communications and patient status reports.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure. We require an empathetic communicator who excels at multi-tasking and values meticulous record-keeping. Your commitment to patient-centered care and professional advocacy will ensure our families feel supported and informed.
