Schedule: M-F 7-3p- variable coverage

As a Staff Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional diagnostic imaging services to our diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics. You'll be at the forefront of advanced medical technology, performing Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT examinations, collaborating closely with our radiologists, and producing high-quality images that directly impact patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Patient-Centered Care:Provide compassionate and attentive care to patients throughout the imaging process, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Advanced Imaging Techniques:Perform a wide range of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT examinations, utilizing your expertise to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
- Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and efficient patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Technical Expertise:Calculate, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols, ensuring accurate dosing and patient safety.
- Quality Assurance:Maintain the highest standards of image quality and patient safety, adhering to all applicable regulations and guidelines.
- Workflow Efficiency:Prioritize workload effectively, coordinate multiple exams, and ensure efficient workflow within the department.
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
CNMT within 3 months of hire.
